The face for our society of courage, is a celebrity visiting a third-world country for a week, delivering food, water, money, and of-course awareness. But this “courage” is false. They do it to feel good, sure, but also the publicity. They don`t have the true courage. It is the people who live in those situations , and don`t give up, who hold all the true courage. The women who starve to ensure their child has nourishment. The father who stares death in the face to ensure his family stays safe.

It is time to stop plastering the faces of the rich who visit the third world for a week , and then every night go back to their 5 star hotels, as the face of courage.

But in this society are we more likely to stare at a picture and buy photos of Angelina Jolie sitting or walking with these people, or a picture of the families who deal with these problems everyday?
